Obando festival

Hubby and I will be celebrating our 2 yrs and 2 months anniv tom, May 17 and we both agreed to start our day by going to Obando and attend the mass. It's been more than 2yrs since we got married but the blessing that we've been praying from the ONE above has not yet arrived. I just believe that he will give it to us in his own perfect time...I just can't help but feel sad sometimes when there are people who are so rude to ask and assume that they know everything! I often just smile at them pero there are instances talaga na grabe, kakainis na! wag na sila mag comment please! They don't know what TTC couples are feeling everytime they say those things...I'll include them in my prayers na lang that God will forgive them for they don't kno what they are saying.

Btw, I made some research about the Obando festival and accdg to what I've found in the net, the streets are filled with couples hoping for children who dances during the procession and appealing that they will be given the blessing of having children. They say that if you want a wife, you dance to San Pascual Baylon. Conversely, if you want a husband, then you dance to Santa Clara de Assisi. Finally, if you want a child you dance to the Virgen de Salambao.

Hubby and I will pray and strut our stuff tom. I'm sure it will be fun, fun, fun!

Excited!

Since my fave nba team lost last friday, I'm so excited and also a bit nervous on what will happen on monday, game 7 of the West Semis...Just what coach Phil said in the post game presscon "there's nothing to worry". I believe him...

Andrea's graduation

It's graduation season again...first on my list is my tita's "alaga" Andrea or Iya as we call her. She finished kinder last friday and my tita was there to capture her 1st grad...excited eh...congrats Iya! wag masyado makulit ha!





Before march ends, my niece and nephew, Camille and Renz, both grade six students will also be graduating. Congrats!

A cousin's wedding...

My dear cousin and maid of honor, Jasmin finally tied the knot last March 5 at Holy Family Parish...The wedding was very simple and was only attended by close relatives and friends.

The Hunt is ON!

Since we moved to our new house last Dec, I'm very keen on buying a new sofa. The one we are currently using (which was given to us by my Tita) is too small. When we used to rent a unit, the sofa is perfect since we wanted to maximize the small space we have at that time. I know there's global crisis going on so I need to use my convincing powers so the hubby would allow me to buy.hehehe...I'll tag him along on the 3-day Homeworld Warehouse Sale which will happen from Feb 27 to Mar 1 at Megatrade Hall 3, SM Megamall. I just hope that the discounts are really, really BIG! Wish me luck!

Summer getaway

I've been searching the net this past few days looking for where to go this summer. I'm thinking of going to Bohol before the holy week but I hope our budget will permit. I have not told hubby yet about my plan since he just asked me to look for an affordable one...besides, we really spent a lot last year during the construction of the house...What are your plans? I hope you could share it to me...
